Member's Mark alcohol swabs are saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol. They are typically used for preparation of the skin prior to an injection. Cleansing the area with the swab helps prevent bacteria from entering the body and causing an infection. They can also be used for first aid to decrease germs in minor cuts, scrapes and burns, and as a general skin cleanser.
